Crimson Tide

I’ve been looking at a lot of old main forum posts the past few days and was reminded of how awesome some of the art we’ve used for past blockades has been. I hate that there is nowhere except for the wiki to keep these things, and even then, it’s hidden away on a category. So in this post, I will be memorializing some of our fine art! If you find any that I haven’t included, shoot me the link and I’ll edit it in! I’m almost certain I haven’t found all of them, especially as I’ve only found two and I know there were more than two. Hrmph.

After losing control of Xi Island in September 2008, CT took some time to regroup and attacked Xi, winning back control of our beloved home island.

“Get Off My Lawn!” – An Attempt for Jorvik

Gretchen Goldfang, the Brigand King, had taken possession of Jorvik Island. In October 2009, Crimson Tide decided to save shoppe owners everywhere from her evil influence. Turns out, Dies Irae had the same thought in mind, so it became a well fought three-way blockade.

In November of 2011, Crimson Tide returned to the blockade board, winning control of Jorvik Island and defeating the Brigand King Madam Yuang in her most pathetic attempt to take our home island of Xi.

I just bought Girl Scout Cookies, and I was trying to figure out what was my favorite. But, I just can’t decide! Do you buy these delicious items each year? If so, which is your favorite?

The holidays are filled with reasons to give thanks (and some for cursing, but that isn’t the point!) Big things, small things, silly thing…we should all give thanks.

I will be doing a little forum game, with in game prizes that I have not yet determined. (But it won’t be a woodpile, I promise). The game will have a few steps, and I hope lots of you participate. Head on over to the Events section of the forum and give the first step a go!

Crimson Tide Trick or Treating event – hosted by Tacita: Starts on 10/31 at 6:30pm pst (8:30 cst). Houses will be set up for trick or treating. Challenge the host, win, and claim your prize!

Cold Fire’s Halloween Party: Starts on 10/31 at 9pm pst (11p cst). Join our allies for costume contests, trick or treating, trivia, games, and a mass CI trip!

Post Halloween Masked Mystery Pillage – hosted by Tinyred: Starts on 11/1 at noon pst (2p cst). Remember time will have changed so set your clocks! Create an alt and join the masked pillage. Take your turn at the nav board and kick some brigand booty.

Also, be sure to check out Mistymate’s mini forum contest in celebration of daylight saving time. Remember to post your entry before game time changes!
